Gear up for Providence Bridge Pedal!
Join us for the 15th anniversary celebration of Providence Bridge Pedal.
Since 1996, Providence Bridge Pedal has grown to be a signature event on the Portland summer event calendar. It offers you the one opportunity each year to enjoy the Willamette River bridges – including the top decks of the Fremont and Marquam bridges – from the best possible vantage point: the seat of a bicycle.
Avid cyclists and novice pedalers, young and old, savor this opportunity. With bike rides from three to 36 miles, as well as a six-mile walk, the event offers choices appropriate for everyone.
Kids ride free!
Providence Bridge Pedal invites children age 15 and younger to join the 5-Bridge Ride or the Stride free of charge. Registration and adult supervision are required.
Not a cyclist?
Walkers are welcome, too. Providence Bridge Stride is a six-mile walking event that begins and ends in downtown Portland near the Burnside Bridge.

Party in the Park.
You’re invited to Providence Bridge Pedal Health and Wellness Expo on Saturday, Aug. 7, from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m.
Last year’s outdoor venue for the Providence Bridge Pedal Health and Wellness Expo was such a success that we’re bringing the party to back Oregon Square. Oregon Square is right next to the Northeast Seventh Avenue MAX stop within TriMet’s Free Rail Zone. Here you can register for the ride, pick up your registration packet, view the latest in bicycling gear and gather health tips from Providence programs, all in a park-like setting.
Get your heart pumping, Portland.
